Helen Mountford, Deputy Director, Environment Directorate, OECD France

In an exclusive interview with Envecologic TV, Mountford talks about the importance of water pricing, cost versus benefits of water supply & sanitation and women’s role in developing countries. Mountford has worked in the Environment Directorate of the OECD since 1997, and as Head of the Division on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Development since 2006. Her work at OECD has included a leading role in the preparation of the 2001 and 2008 OECD Environmental Outlook reports, as well as analysis of policies in the areas of water pricing, biodiversity incentive measures, market-based instruments, and reform of environmentally harmful subsidies.
